There are a number (12) of projects on the go at the moment. I have no pictures, however, and I did finish the snowball quilt last night. Whooo hoooo! It is always a celebration when you can cross something off the list. I’ll contact the family this week and give it back. I think it is intended for one of the grandchildren. It was a gratifying project. I’m more than satisfied with the results.
This snowball design is a favorite of mine, but I have to say I also am enjoying the Chinese Coins (Fruits of the Spirit) quilt. As I’m going backwards, I saw your struggles with your borders. I hear you on that one! Sometimes when you quilt them you can get the wobbliness out of the border, but sometimes it just makes it worse. Bravo to you for re-sewing! (I also hate to re-do steps.)
The borders were REALLY ruffled. I couldn’t even get them to pin flat sandwiching it.
This is gorgeous! I’m a little envious of your ability to be so productive, as at the moment I am anything but. I have fewer WIPs going, but at the rate I’m going, I won’t have most of them done before the end of this year.
Being productive means something else suffers. I stumbled across the perfect quote the other day, “A clean house is the sign of a broken sewing machine.” My sewing machine is currently not broken, so you can imagine the state of my house!
Congratulations on # 🙂
Thank you so much! My house is, for once, actually looking a bit nicer, but that may be second trimester energy or nesting or something, and I AM actually slowly making progress on my quilting to do’s, but I feel like I’m going a million directions at once! I hope to get enough done that I can put together some ideas for a baby blanket for this little guy.
I remember those days. Have fun and enjoy.
